Adam Levine is bringing his pre-superstar life to the small screen.
Deadline.com says the Maroon 5 singer is producing a single-camera comedy for NBC based on his real-life relationship with former roommate Gene Hong.
Hong, whose writing credits NBC's "Community," is set to write the pilot episode, which he'll executive produce along with Levine and another friend of the rocker's, longtime Maroon 5 manager Jordan Feldstein.
The project is part of the first-look deal Adam signed with NBC Entertainment back in May.
