PAWTUCKET, R.I. (AP) — Pawtucket police say they arrested a dozen men during a prostitution sting.

The Providence Journal reports the department conducted the sting Friday after residents and officers noticed what they suspected was increased prostitution in a neighborhood.

Police say the men approached undercover female officers and offered to pay for sex.

All the men have been charged in District Court in Providence with procurement of sexual conduct.
