TIVERTON, R.I. (AP) — Two people have been injured after an explosion in a camper parked in a backyard in Tiverton.

WPRI-TV reports a man and a boy were injured Friday morning. The man suffered burns to his entire body and was taken to Rhode Island Hospital. The boy had burns to his legs, and was taken to Hasbro Children's Hospital.

The explosion caused the camper to partially collapse. Fire officials said the man and boy were able to climb out and were conscious when emergency responders reached them.

The fire marshal's office is investigating. Tiverton Police Chief Thomas Blakey says the explosion may have been propane-related.
