Coast Guard House to Reopen After Sandy Damage

NARRAGANSETT, R.I. (AP) _ The Coast Guard House in Narragansett is about to reopen after recovering from damage caused by Superstorm Sandy.

WPRI-TV reports that the 125-year-old restaurant will reopen on Memorial Day weekend.

The waterfront restaurant was badly damaged in the October storm. Windows were broken and its lower level was flooded.

The lower level will still be closed for now. The owners say they hope to fully reopen the restaurant in late summer or early fall.
