NEWPORT, R.I. (AP) — The International Tennis Hall of Fame & Museum in Rhode Island is set to break ground in the first phase of a major project to expand and upgrade its facilities. The $15.7 million project will upgrade the museum with new technology and exhibitions add additional tennis courts and facilities and improve campus-wide amenities, including the tennis stadium. The campaign also aims to revitalize the streetscape on nearby Memorial Boulevard. Officials on Wednesday will launch the first component of the project.
