PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) _ Rhode Island's attorney general is representing the National Association of Attorneys General at an international meeting of prosecutors in Moscow.

On Tuesday he is scheduled to lead a panel discussion on human rights and equality, the role of prosecutors in defending human rights and ethical standards for prosecutors.

The focus of the 18th annual conference is the prosecutor and the rule of law.

Kilmartin hosted a regional conference of the International Association of Prosecutors in Providence in August.

About 500 prosecutors, government officials and law enforcement are expected to attend the four-day conference, which opened Monday.
