PAWTUCKET, R.I. (AP) _ A 41-year-old Pawtucket man is recovering from stab wounds he suffered during what police say was a home invasion.
Jeffrey LeBrun told police he was attacked inside his home early Sunday by two masked men, one of whom was carrying a knife.
LeBrun tells WPRI-TV he was watching TV and drinking a soda just before 2 a.m., when the men came through an unlocked door. He says one man tried to strangle him, the other attacked him with a knife.
He fought back, suffering wounds to his hands.
He says the men fled when he wife woke up and came down stairs to see what was going on.
Police have made no arrests and say they have no motive for the attack.
