WARWICK, R.I. (AP) — Officials with the state medical examiner's office are trying to determine the cause of death of a man in his 50s whose body was found in a wooded area of Warwick.
The man's body was discovered Tuesday down an embankment near a guardrail off Toll Gate Road near Route 2. Police say there were no signs of trauma or foul play.
Authorities say the man was from West Warwick and they're trying to locate his family. His name hasn't been released.
The body was found near a trailer park, but people there said they didn't know the man.
The medical examiner's office will be performing an autopsy.
