LINCOLN, R.I. (AP) — Lincoln police and the FBI are searching for a man wanted in connection with an armed bank robbery.
Workers at the Bank of America branch told police that the man came into the bank shortly before 4 p.m. Monday, pulled out a handgun and demanded money from a teller. Authorities say the man made off with an undetermined amount of cash and was last seen running south toward Pawtucket.
Police described the suspect as a white or Hispanic man in his mid- to late 20s and about 5-feet-6 to 5-feet-9 inches tall with a slender build. He was wearing a gray hooded sweat shirt, gray baggy sweat pants, blue sneakers, a black mask, sunglasses and dark gloves.
Anyone with information is urged to call Lincoln police.
