How Protest Can Go Wrong

Down the stretch of the contentious Presidential election, I voiced numerous times

I thought we'd go through serious civil unrest whomever won. We saw a dose during and after the Friday's  swearing in of Donald Trump as our 45th president and on Saturday we saw protests across the country, the centerpiece being the Women's March on Washington DC where an estimated half a million women AND men gathered to voice their opposition to President. It's when ignorance becomes an ingredient to peaceful demonstrations do I fear the potential of a violent cocktail, and that's where the Queen of Pop enters the recipe. Madonna told the crowd "Welcome to the revolution of love, to the rebellion. To our detractors that insist this march will never add up to anything, F-U" only she flat out used the Queen Mother of all swear words, dropping three F-Bombs airing uncensored on C-SPAN, CNN, and MSNBC. Now, while having no class ISN'T a crime, if it was Madonna would be on death row, admitting, quote, "Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House", end quote, might be.
