High School Renovation Plan Clears Hurdle

(Lincoln, RI)  --  The renovation of the high school in Lincoln is another step closer to reality after the plan was approved by town council.  The plan if approved by the Rhode Island Department of Education would add new floors, heating and air conditioning as well as equipment to the 52-year-old building.  The old junior high school which has been vacant for eleven years would be demolished.  It's estimated that the cost of renovation will be more than sixty-five million dollars.
