(Durham, NC) -- Authorities say a Central Falls man is dead after a car driving the wrong way on Interstate-85 in North Carolina struck the SUV he was driving. The accident happened around 12:15 yesterday morning in Durham, North Carolina near Exit 179. A car driven by 49-year-old Aretha Lynette Chavis struck the SUV driven by 29-year-old Jerry Alamo of Central Falls, killing both drivers. Four adult passengers and three children were taken to the hospital for treatment. The crash is under investigation.
