(Providence, RI) -- A Providence woman is facing charges in connection with a hit-and-run that injured a teenager. Authorities say 33-year-old Ceira Santiago Guerrido turned herself in to police yesterday. Police say Guerrido struck a 15-year-old girl around 9 p.m. Wednesday at Prairie Avenue and Public Street as the girl was using a crosswalk to cross the street. The girl was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
