(Providence, RI) -- The House Finance Committee is expected to vote tonight on its version of the state budget for the fiscal year that starts July 1st. The full House is expected to begin debate, probably next week. Governor Gina Raimondo released her nine-point-three-billion-dollar proposal in January. The governor and legislative leaders have been working on a compromise budget for weeks.
