(Providence, RI) -- Neighbors of Rhode Island College in Providence are not happy about a proposed parking lot expansion. The college notified nearby residents over the weekend about plans to expand the lots as part of a 300 million dollar campus upgrade. Neighbors at last night's town hall meeting expressed fear the peacefulness of the area will go away as more cars speed up and down the streets. Residents are also concerned about how close the expanded lots would come to their property.
