ACLU Not Pleased By Providence Council Decision To Add Red Light Cameras

(Providence, RI)  --  The ACLU is not happy with Providence City Council's action to add more red light cameras.  Council voted yesterday to increase the number of cameras from 25 to 45.  The ACLU claims a driver has no opportunity to give a specific reason for their action, unlike when they are stopped by an officer.  The ACLU also argues there's no reason for the cameras other than to pad the city's coffers.
