Governor Signs Budget Into Law

(Providence, RI)  --  It's official, Rhode Island has a new state budget after Governor Raimondo signed it into law yesterday.  The Senate passed the budget yesterday that the House passed on June 30th.  The Senate passed the nine-billion dollar spending plan after the House agreed it would pass a bill that would call for annual reports on the affordability of the car tax being repealed.  Those reports begin in 2021.
