(Providence, RI) -- Rhode Island is gearing up to help Texas recover from the effects of Hurricane Harvey. Two Rhode Island Red Cross volunteers are to leave for the Lonestar State today and join one other who is already there. The National Guard has two C-130 transport planes at the ready if they're needed. The Catholic diocese of Providence is also providing financial assistance.
