(Washington, DC) -- Sheldon Whitehouse is calling for a major change to the country's health care system. The Democratic senator announced yesterday he will co-sponsor Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders' single-payer proposal. Sanders plans to introduce his Medicare for All Act tomorrow. Whitehouse says the bill will bring down health care costs and improve the quality of care.
