Woman Swept Off Rocks In Narragansett Rescued

(Narragansett, RI)  --  A 39-year old Cranston woman is being treated for hypothermia after she was swept off rocks in Narragansett and rescued.  The woman was knocked into the water at the end of Hazard Avenue around 6:30 last evening.  It took emergency personnel more than an hour to get a life jacket thrown to her and a Narragansett Fire department rescuer to reach her before she was taken to the hospital.  A 28-year-old man was also swept off the rocks, but he made it to shore on his own.
