Five People Rescued From Capsized Catamaran

(Jamestown, RI)  -- Five people are safe after being rescued when a catamaran capsized off Jamestown.   The Coast Guard says the incident happened around 1 p.m. Saturday south of Beavertail Lighthouse and two catamarans were in distress.  Two people in life jackets were in the water while three others were still on the capsized craft.  All five were rescued and taken to shore with the other catamaran.  There were no serious injuries.
