(Fall River, MA) -- A New Bedford man is dead after an officer- involved shooting in Fall River, Massachusetts. Authorities say officers responded around 11:30 p.m. Sunday to gunshots fired near Riggenbach and Airport roads, and they attempted to pull over a vehicle leaving the area. An officer fired into the car, wounding 19-year-old Larry Ruiz-Barreto, who later died at the hospital. Several of Ruiz-Barreto's relatives were arrested after a disturbance at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
