House Dems:PawSox Stadium Deal Needs Improvement

(Providence, RI)  --  House Democrats don't like what they see in a current proposal for a new Pawtucket Red Sox stadium.  House Speaker Nicholas A. Mattiello says the issue will not go to a November voter referendum.  After an hour-long closed-door session with fellow Democrats, Mattiello says the General Assembly will ultimately make a decision on the proposed 85-million-dollar plan.  He says his colleagues want the proposal improved so the state doesn't bear as much of a financial burden.
