According to the website NationalSchoolWalkout.net, demonstrations are scheduled for Friday, the 19th anniversary of the Columbine High School shooting, to protest violence in schools and the lack of change that has occurred to stop it. In Rhode Island, walkouts are planned for the Wheeler School in Providence, Woonsocket Middle School, Rocky Hill School in East Greenwich, and Exeter West Greenwich High School.
