(Middletown, RI) -- Former President Trump press secretary Sean Spicer is making an appearance in Rhode Island on Friday. Spicer is planning to sign copies of his new book "The Briefing: Politics, the Press and the President" at Barnes and Noble in Middletown. A book-signing event scheduled for Saturday in Seekonk, Massachusetts at a local BJ's Wholesale Club was canceled because of political concerns, according to the book's publisher.
