(Undated) -- The heat is continuing in Rhode Island today. The National Weather Service has a Heat Advisory for all of the state except for the East Bay due to predicted heat index values in the upper 90s and a high temperature of around 90 degrees. There are a half-dozen school districts that are dismissing students early due to the heat. They are Chariho, East Greenwich, East Providence, South Kingstown, West Warwick and Westerly.
