Remains Of World War Two Serviceman Accounted For

(Washington, DC)  --  A Providence native who served in World War Two has been accounted for.  The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency announced on Wednesday that the remains of Army Air Forces First Lieutenant John Crouchley was accounted for last Friday.  Crouchley was a pilot whose aircraft was shot down during a combat mission over Romania in 1944, according to the department.  His remains were discovered last year.
