WHAT WAS IN YOUR HIGH SCHOOL YEARBOOK?

So, smack dab in the middle of that three ring circus Thursday during testimony by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanugh was out own Senator Sheldon Whitehouse who chose to delve deeply into the high school yearbook of the nominee. During questioning, Whitehouse asked about some of Kavanaugh's pals entries making light of drinking games and other activities they enjoyed during high school romps.  The judge enlightened Whitehouse on the drinking game called "Quarters", that the RALPH CLUB was a reference to vomiting, (I guess from having a few too many) and "boofing" which is breaking wind. So our Senator tried to get to the bottom of bouncing a quarter into a drink of your choice, riding the porcelain  honda and farting. Makes you proud. The whole yearbook thing to me was a stretch in terms of who someone is 36 years later. Stop and think of some of the stuff in YOUR high school yearbook...assuming your of Kavanaugh and Dr. Blasey's age or older. My St. Ray's yearbook is filled with syrupy quotes from Jonathan Livingston Seagull, psychedelic drug aficionado Dr. Timothy Leary and lyrics from Country Joe and the Fish. Are these still my words to live by? Far from it. Is it a part of me? Sure...from a time long ago.
