(Lincoln, RI) -- A Cumberland man is dead after a crash on Interstate 295 in Lincoln on Monday night. Rhode Island State Police reports indicate Craig Fregeau was the victim of the crash on I-295 north near the Route 146 exit. Fregeau, who police say was not wearing a seatbelt, was reportedly ejected after his vehicle went off the road, rolled over and struck a light pole and a tree. He was transported to Rhode Island Hospital, where police said he died early Tuesday.
