Former NFL Player Rips Providence Sports Fans

(New York, NY)  --  A former NFL player is letting sports fans from the city of Providence know exactly how he feels about them as the Patriots get ready to host a playoff game this weekend.  Bart Scott, who played for the Baltimore Ravens and New York Jets, made comments while hosting a show on a radio station in New York on Monday, saying fans in Providence are, quote, "not bad fans, they're bad people", and that if he saw some people in the city, he would want to punch them in the face.  Scott said fans would routinely pull the fire alarm of the hotel and use microphones to shout at players throughout the night when his teams stayed in the city.  The Pats host the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
