#Notplaying. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are revamping their staff after several high-profile defections, and one of the new hires includes an alum from Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign.
The royal family released a statement Thursday confirming that Sara Latham will head up their new communications team. She is a dual citizen of the U.S. and the U.K. and has also worked with Barack Obama and U.K. politician Tessa Jowell.
All of this comes on the heels of months of bad news for Meghan and Harry. Rumors of Meghan feuding with her sister-in-law Kate Middleton and Harry and Prince William even growing apart under the strain has dominated headlines for months.
It also signals a further break in the so-called “Fab 4”, with Harry and Meghan’s team officially splitting away from Harry and Kate’s team.
Harry and Meghan are expecting their first child together in late April.
