Hopkinton Declares Itself Second Amendment Sanctuary Town

(Hopkinton, RI)--A second town in Rhode Island is declaring itself a Second Amendment sanctuary.The Hopkinton Town Council voted three-to-two in favor of a resolution on Monday that is similar to the one recently passed in Burrillville.It says local police can use discretion when enforcing laws that affect people's Second Amendment rights and that town resources will not be used to store confiscated weapons.
