(Warwick, RI)--"Lunch shaming" is how some people are viewing an announcement from Warwick Public Schools indicating a sun butter and jelly sandwich will be given to students who owe lunch money.They say the policy, effective next Monday, will put a spotlight on families with financial issues and will lead to bullying.The owner of a popular restaurant in West Warwick, Gel's Kitchen, says help was offered to the district to pay some of the unpaid lunch balances, but that the district has refused the help.
