Parent Pleads Guilty In College Admissions Bribery Case

(Boston, MA)--A new guilty plea in the ongoing college admissions scandal implicates former University of Rhode Island tennis coach Gordon Ernst.The U.S. Justice Department says Stephen Semprevivo of Los Angeles pleaded guilty in federal court in Boston on Tuesday to charges stemming from an accusation that he paid 400-thousand dollars to get his child into Georgetown University as a tennis recruit during Ernst's time there.Ernst has pleaded not guilty to a charge of conspiracy to commit racketeering in connection to the case.
