Nathan Carman Insurance Lawsuit Trial Date Set

(Providence, RI)--A trial date in Rhode Island is being set for a lawsuit involving Nathan Carman, the Vermont man who survived after his fishing boat sank in 2016.A lawsuit filed by the insurer of the boat is trying to block Carman's 85-thousand-dollar claim, alleging he altered the boat in a deliberate attempt to sink it.Nathan's mother, Linda Carman, was on board for the trip that started out of Point Judith; she wasn't found and is presumed dead.The trial is set for August 12th in Providence.
