Restaurant Involved In Death Case Has Liquor License Revoked

(Hopkinton, RI)--A South County restaurant at the center of a death investigation is getting its liquor license yanked.The Hopkinton Town Council took the action on Monday against the Boneyard Barbecue Restaurant and Saloon.Boneyard co-owner Patrick Kane was arrested in August for obstructing justice after a fatal accident on the restaurant's property allegedly involving a Jeep owned by Kane.A special counsel said last night that the establishment often over-served patrons, and that the bar was staying open past closing time.
