(Providence, RI)--A home invasion was reported in Providence overnight Monday.Police say four armed invaders went into an apartment on Potters Avenue and assaulted a man with a hammer and pistol.The victim said he was sleeping with his five-year-old son and his girlfriend.Police say along with the four suspects, a fifth person was waiting outside in a car that had been reported stolen and fled the area.
