(Washington, DC) -- House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says she will not whip votes on impeaching President Trump.
The California Democrat says that on something this important, she will trust all the members of the House to look at the evidence and vote their conscience. She disagreed with Republican assertions that they have rushed the process.
Pelosi said six committees have been investigating President Trump for nearly a year, and that the two articles of impeachment show a continuation of a pattern of misbehavior by President Trump.
