(Santa Monica, CA) -- A home safety app is helping to bring missing children home.
The makers of the Ring camera system are now putting missing child posters directly in its app called "Neighbors by Ring," which gives Ring users crime and safety alerts. The posters include the child's photo and description, and are sent to users within a five mile radius of the child's last location.
Ring's founder calls the partnership with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children a "game changer," because it can be done in real time.
