(Providence, RI)--Allegations are being made of a contractor for the 6-10 Connector highway project using contaminated soil.GoLocalProv.com and WPRI-TV both have stories about the state looking into the allegations; GoLocal is reporting that state police have opened up a criminal investigation.A union official representing workers on the site reportedly made the claim against Massachusetts-based Barletta Construction.
