RI Health Director: Mask-Wearing Could Be Beneficial Post-COVID

(Providence, RI)--Rhode Island Public Health Director Dr. Nicole Alexander-Scott says mask-wearing may become a regular part of the future, even after the COVID-19 pandemic ends.In an interview with The Providence Journal, Alexander-Scott says wearing the face coverings could result in a milder flu season.She said it's unlikely the practice would become mandatory, but Alexander-Scott hopes the public would see the benefits.
