(Providence, RI)--Educators in Rhode Island can now sign up to get the COVID-19 vaccine at Walgreens.In a statement yesterday, the pharmacy chain said the CDC's guidelines this month allow Walgreens to start targeting school staff as well as childcare workers with its COVID-19 vaccination program.Joseph Wendelken with the Rhode Island Department of Health says Walgreens joins CVS in the project.The pharmacy chains are getting an unspecified number of doses of the Pfizer vaccine from the federal government specifically earmarked to be administered to public school educators.
