Providence Mayor Declares City Open For Business

(Providence, RI) -- The Mayor of Providence says the city is open for business.  Mayor Jorge Elorza spoke during a media event yesterday saying he welcomes visitors back to the city as COVID-19 restrictions are being lifted. The Mayor says there is free parking for two hours downtown and as many other fees as possible are being waived to encourage people to visit. He says businesses can operate at 80-percent capacity.
