Homeless Group Living In Old Nightclub Accounted For After Fire

(Providence, RI) -- An old nightclub in Providence which was being lived in by a group of homeless people was heavily damaged by a fire overnight Saturday. The Providence Journal reported the fire was at the old Club Monet and Van Gogh Lounge on Harris Street behind Providence Place. Up to ten homeless people were staying there, but police were reportedly able to account for all of them. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
