Rain May Cause Flooding on Thursday

Most of Rhode Island is expected to get over two inches of rain in the National Weather Service forecast for the two-day rain event impacting Southern New England Wednesday and Thursday. The weather service has RI and parts of Connecticut and Massachusetts under a Flash Flood Watch until Thursday morning. Rhode Island's summer continues to be a wet one as last month was the third-most precipitation for Providence in any month of July on record.
