(Lawrence, MA) -- Over a thousand people came out as calling hours were held in Lawrence for U.S. Marine Sergeant Johanny Rosario Pichardo. She was one of 13 U.S. Marines killed in a suicide bombing outside the airport in Kabul, Afghanistan last month. The wake was held at Veterans Memorial Stadium yesterday, with family members making emotional tributes to the fallen 25-year-old Marine. Her body was returned to Massachusetts on Saturday, and a private funeral mass was held on Monday.
