Governor Has Game Plan For Pandemic Relief Monies

Governor Dan McKee wants at least ten-percent of federal stimulus money used as a down payment for the state's economic revival. 

The Governor repeating calls for support for small businesses as well as housing.

The state is getting one-point-eight-billion-dollars over two-years to support financial recovery from the pandemic. 

The Governor, while appearing with a group of small business owners in East Greenwich says that he will be filing a supplemental budget for the investments within the next several weeks.

He noted that Rhode Island is the only state in the northeast not to spend any of the federal money.

But he says the time has come to spend.
