Providence Ready To Make Clean Sweep

The City of Providence is doing some cleanup work. Officials at the Department of Public Works announced it would be using American Rescue Plan Funds to clean streets at least four times a year.

Street Sweeping operations will begin from 10:30pm to 7am nightly although officials say they will also conduct sweeping where there is minimal interruption to traffic.

Officials are asking you to go to their website in order to get specific schedules for their neighborhoods.

DPW officials say the cleaning operations are significant to insuring a clean city for quality of life and economic development.
