Local Runners Ready To Go At 126th Boston Marathon

Today is Marathon Day.

It is the 126th running of the Boston Marathon.

Two Rhode Island State Police troopers, Chris D'Angelo and Jacquelyn Applin, are running to raise money for the nonprofit Cops for Kids with Cancer.

Another runner from the Ocean State to follow today is Robert Sanchas.

The Warren native suffered an injury from a bungee cord accident in the U.S. Army which left him legally blind.

The 54-year-old Sanchas will be running the Marathon with a guide.
