Councilor Has Plan For Future Of Providence

Providence City Councilor John Goncalves says the city is at a critical juncture in history.

He is out with a 40-page plan that he says will improve quality of life—crackdown on government inefficiency, graffiti, noise and other issues.

He also wants better oversight of the Department of Public Works, including better street sweeping and pothole repair.

The councilor says a lot of positive things have happened in the state under the Elorza administration and now it is time to capitalize on it.

The councilor has an on-line survey on his Facebook page where he is looking for feedback.
